I know someone who says they make too much for their child to qualify for financial aid but yet they are always broke and they live in a one bdrm apt how on earth is this possible i think this person is lying about something or possibly entered wrong data into the fafsa Anyone can qualify for "financial aid" regardless of income in the form of federal student loans, so that persons statement is simply not true. Also, they use income and assets to determine eligibility for the free grants. Ones debt and bills, ability to manage their money and live within their means is not factored in.yeah financial aid...you cant work too much or else they wont give it to you and its better to get the 4000 NOT working vs working full time the whole semester which would make you get lower grades and paying out of pocket..it just makes more sense to not work at all
But financial aid counts everything! They dont take into acount the fact that people have to pay for rent and gas and food and many other bills..they dont ask that in their application which is really flawed...they only ask for every income you make....they even ask if somebody pays any bills for you...and you cant have too much money in your bank account because they check that too! and if you have enought to pay for tuition...it doesnt matter if the money in the bank is for rent...theyll say you can afford it and no help for you. its really sucks!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
